This Privacy Policy explains how Performance collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use the service. Performance is designed to collect limited direct identifiers, primarily your email address for login, while processing the training data you choose to provide.
1. Information we collect. We collect account information such as email address and account identifiers; profile and onboarding information you choose to provide such as race goals, plan preferences, target times, training availability, and self-reported fitness metrics; training information you choose to log such as sessions, duration, distance, heart rate, perceived exertion, prescriptions, forecasts, and plan history; billing metadata such as subscription status, product, price, period dates, and payment processor customer identifiers; support communications; disclaimer acceptance records; account deletion/export records; and technical information such as logs, device/browser metadata, IP-derived security signals, cookies, and service analytics events.
2. Information we do not intentionally collect. We do not intentionally collect payment card numbers, government identifiers, precise background location, contacts, or unrelated device data. Payment card data is handled by Stripe or the relevant payment processor.
3. How we use information. We use information to provide, secure, maintain, personalize, and improve Performance; generate plans, forecasts, and Coach features; authenticate accounts; process subscriptions; respond to support and legal requests; debug and monitor the service; prevent abuse; enforce terms; satisfy legal obligations; and produce aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified analytics and benchmarks.
4. Sharing. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Performance, including hosting, database, authentication, payment, email, analytics, logging, security, and support providers. Optional AI-assisted features such as Ask Coach send the relevant training context to a third-party AI API provider (currently OpenAI) for the sole purpose of generating the response shown to you; see the provider's API data-processing terms for details. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent. We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party advertising.
5. Cookies and similar technologies. At launch, Performance uses only cookies or similar technologies needed for authentication, security, payments, and core service operation. We do not run advertising cookies or non-essential marketing cookies. If we later add non-essential analytics or marketing cookies where consent is required, we will add the required consent flow before enabling them.
6. Legal bases where applicable. Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as product operation, security, analytics, and improvement, comply with legal obligations, protect vital interests, and process consent-based activities where consent is required.
7. Data export and deletion. You may request export or deletion of your account data using available account tools or by contacting performance@lgtnow.com. The standard account export is intended to cover active, user-visible training and account records. It does not include internal security logs, service-role-only fields, provider-token material, deletion/anonymization bookkeeping, raw payment card data, or soft-deleted records removed from ordinary user-facing scope, unless we are required by law to provide them. Account deletion removes or anonymizes ordinary account data according to the service's deletion process, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, backup, and operational retention needs.
8. Retention. We retain account and training data while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce terms, meet legal obligations, maintain security, support backups, and operate the business. We may delete, anonymize, or aggregate inactive account data after three years of inactivity, or earlier where required by law or operationally appropriate. Backup, audit, security, billing, and legal records may be retained for longer where needed.
9. Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and you use the service knowing that security risks cannot be eliminated completely.
10. International processing. Information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from where you live.
11. Children. Performance is not intended for children under 18. Do not use the service if you are under 18.
12. Changes and contact. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Questions or requests: performance@lgtnow.com
